Gary Tabor was born and raised in the Texas/Oklahoma panhandle. He attended Oklahoma Christian College where he met and married his wife, Donna. After graduating in 1968, he entered the U.S. Air Force and ultimately was stationed at McChord Air Force base in Tacoma, Washington. After the Air Force he attended law school at the University of Puget Sound. Gary served as a Thurston County deputy prosecutor for over eighteen years and has been a superior court judge for the last twelve years. He has served as an elder for the Olympia church of Christ since 1992. He and Donna have four adult daughters, two sons-in-law and two grandsons.
