Jim Marshall became a Christian over forty years ago and was baptized along with his wife, Patte, in Torrance California. He's been active in the Lords church by serving as a deacon in California and later as a deacon in Washington followed by his service as an elder at the Olympia church of Christ. While serving in California he preached full time at the Corinth church of Christ in West Los Angeles. He was also very involved in preaching in difficult areas along with having many home Bible studies. His personal interest has always been evangelism and he went to Russia twice to help establish and monitor the church in Magadan. He's been married to Patte for forty three years and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.
