Our Missions


Delano Bay Christian Camp - $1,000
This camp is owned by churches of Christ and overseen by a Board of Directors. Each summer there are camps for all ages. The faculty is also available for family and groups during the year. Our contribution helps to operate the camp without excessive use fees. Vandals did extensive damage to the lodge four years ago.

Faith Builders' Workshop - $6,000
This regional workshop is co-directed by our own Don Jacobs and Tommy Maxwell of the Puyallup congregation, and other area congregations are involved; Our elders are a part of the oversight of this program. Our Congregation has been very involved since the program began in 2014 and we want to continue to support this program; it gives our congregation and members a great spiritual boost each year!

Churches of Christ Disaster Relief - $3,000
There have been so many recent natural disasters in our World. This relief effort responds immediately withing the continental United States with truckloads of aid packages that are distributed through local congregations of Churches of Christ in the affected area. The care packages are purchased in-bulk at a cost much less than retail, so money donations are most effective. Staffed primarily by volunteers, this Nashville, Tennessee Program has provided millions of dollars in aid in the Churches' name over the years. This year has been especially busy with hurricanes, winter storms, fires, flooding, and tornado damage.

Ukraine Missions - $2,400
Brother Doug Berry, under the overseight of the Manhattan, Kansas church elders, moved to the city of Kremenchuk, Ukraine [232,000 people] in March 2019. The church he established there was growing well until the Russian invasion. In the last four years that congregation has reached out to many other Christians in Ukraine during the war to provide food and firewood for heat.


Mountain States Children's Homes - $1,500
This Home is operated by members of the churches of Christ in Colorado and fills a very important need for children who need a home. For several years we have also participated in filling "Cans for Change" with spare change to further support this work.

Focus Press and "Think" Magazine - $1,000
This organization provide answers to those who are seeking the truth about many troubling issues, such as evolution, abortion, scientific research, homosexuality, and many other topics. We feel this is a great work.


Christian ChronicleÂ
 - $2,400
This Christian newspaper seeks to inform, inspire, and unite Christians through relevant news and event reporting. You can receive a free subscription to this publication if you wish. See Gary Tabor.


Orphan's Lifeline International - $1,200
This work provides food, clothing, and other support to orphans in homes in underdeveloped areas of the world. The work is overseen by the Kalispell, Montana church.


Truth for Today - Bible Printing - $1,000
Bibles and Scriptural Literature is being printed in scores of languages and distributed to help native preachers with scripturally sound study materials.

In Search of the Lord's Way T.V. ProgramÂ
 - $1,000
This is the largest brotherhood TV/Radio program and can be seen locally on Cable Channel 22 Sundays at 8 AM, Wednesday at 10:30 AM, and fridays at 8:30 AM.

Dave Miller of Apolegetics Press - $1,000
Apologetics press publishes extensively in the area of Christian Evidence, science and religion, and religious theology.

Ethiopian Missions - $2,400
This work is sponsored by the Woodward Park church of Christ in Fresno, California. Brother Behailu Abebe spoke to us in October 2025, just before returning to Ethiopia. There are five preacher training schools, five schools for the deaf, and three kindergartens. Tens of thousands have been baptized, and more than a thousand congregations have been established.


Good News Today TV Program - $1,400
This is the first magazine format program by churches of Christ and is under the elders of the Dunlap, Tennessee church. Brother Mark Teske is host. [He spoke at Faith Builders in 2024]. Sundays at 6:30 am in Cable channel 112.

Baby Bank - $1,500
There has been a significant increase is the number of people seeking help in this area and the cost of supplies has also increased. We continue to support this work in our regular budget but needed some additional funds.

Missions Travel - $1,000
This fund is available to support people traveling to do Missions work as approved by the Elders.
