LPARC
Lacey Post Acute Rehabilitation Center (LPARC) is a facility delivering exceptional rehabilitation and skilled nursing care for long- and short-term residents. Olympia church of Christ was asked to provide religious services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays monthly. On those days, several brethren join with residents and staff to bring God’s Word. The service consists of prayer, singing, uplifting messages, our Lord’s Supper, and prayer for offerings collected at the congregation. We don’t request donations the facility residents or staff.
Local Events
We provide free bibles, children's bible stories and activities at Lacey's Children's Day at Huntamer Park every first weekend in October and at the Thurston County Fair the last Weekend of July. We would be happy to consider providing bibles and activities at your event. Please contact an elder here to discuss details.
FriendSpeak
FriendSpeak offers the opportunities of friendship and FREE 1-on-1 English
conversation practice with a trained FriendSpeak worker. The sessions are one hour per week, at the church building, for as long as the reader desires to participate. The reading is from a workbook (Luke 1), which is provided by Olympia church of Christ. There are no homework, grammar drills, or tests – just oral reading and friendly discussion.
